Installation Guide

Installation

  1. Add Repository: Open Dalamud settings in-game with /xlsettings
  2. Experimental Tab: Go to the "Experimental" tab and add the repository URL:

  1. Install Plugin: Install "Sphene" through the Plugin Installer
  2. Discord Registration: Join the Discord server and register for your Secret Key:

  1. Registration: Go to the #sphene-registration channel and register with the REG-09 bot
  2. Enter Secret Key: On first startup of the plugin, enter your received Secret Key

Important Requirements

  • Final Fantasy XIV with Dalamud installed
  • Active internet connection
  • Discord registration for Secret Key
  • Penumbra and Glamourer plugins (required)

Optional Plugins

  • SimpleHeels, Customize+, Honorific, Moodles, PetNicknames, Brio, BypassEmote
tip

These plugins are not required but will enhance your experience with Sphene.
They can be easily installed by clicking the install button in Sphene Settings Home Tab.

Or you can just rightclick the Sphene Icon and open Settings with that over the context Menu.

Getting Started

After installation and registration, the Sphene icon will appear in your game interface. You can:

  • Click to open the main window
  • Move the icon by holding and get a visual feedback when its ready to move.
  • Right-click on players to see Sphene options in the context menu
tip

The icon can be placed anywhere on your screen and doesn't consume a macro slot!

Troubleshooting

Plugin Not Loading

  • Ensure Dalamud is up to date
  • Check that Sphene is compatible with your Dalamud API version
  • Verify the plugin files are not corrupted

Connection Issues

  • Check your internet connection
  • Verify the server URL is correct
  • Ensure the server is online and accessible

Sync Not Working

  • Verify you're in the same syncshell as other players
  • Check that Penumbra/Glamourer are properly installed
  • Ensure you have the required permissions
